In the context of sustainable management (maintenance and repair) of concrete structures, monitoring is an important tool. A wide variety of innovative monitoring techniques make it possible to monitor, often remotely, the (damaged) condition of structures and to measure, among other things, deformations, vibrations, stresses and environmental conditions. It is also possible to check the durability of concrete repairs carried out.
All this can be done through the integration of the monitored data and applied analysis automation which is visible in easy to understand dashboards.
Vlaamse Confederatie Bouw hosted a webinar focusing on 'Monitoring for the sustainable management of concrete structures'. Our CEO, Yves Van Ingelgem, spoke along side other industry experts, such as Didier Van de Velde from Infrabel, Gust Van Lysebetten & Michael De Bouw from WTCB and Koen Driessens & Ben Smits from Vogel Belgium.
